Lithology and Thickness

The Chencai Gr is composed of metamorphosed intermediate- basic volcano-sedimentary rocks. It was subdivided into four formations: Daojiuwan Fm(捣臼湾组), Xiahetu Fm (下河图组), Xiawuzhai Fm(下屋宅组)and Xu'an Fm(徐岸组)from bottom to top. A detailed description of the group is given respectively for each of those component formations. The Chencai Gr is 1680-2800 m thick.

Lithology Pattern:
Volcanics
